Fatal collision on A38 at Fradley

A 21-year-old man died following a collision on the southbound A38, near Fradley.

The incident, which occurred at around 4.25am, on Saturday, March 4,  involved a blue articulated large goods vehicle and a dark-coloured Volkswagen Bora.

The driver of the Bora was flown by air ambulance to Birmingham Queens Medical Centre, where he died a short time later.

Plea to witnesses

Staffordshire Police are asking for people who saw the vehicles before the incident, or who witnessed the collision itself, to contact them.

People should ring 101, quoting incident 144, of March 4.
