Creative artists have a chance to show off their talents free of charge at this year’s Tamworth’s Food Gusto Festival.
The prize pitches in the Castle Grounds are open to two local businesses representing the best Staffordshire has to offer in the world of the unusual, artistic and artisan.
The annual event due to be staged on the weekend of September 10 and 11 is the second in the series.
Last year it attracted dozens of high-quality food and drink producers.
Interesting and unusual sought
This time the organisers also want to bring in a wide range of people from the creative arts who make interesting and unusual things by hand.
That includes folk involved in everything from fine and graphic art, jewellery and glassware, to pottery, mosaics and leatherwork.
Two of the businesses who call in to find out more about taking part will be offered a free pitches.
An exhibition stand offers people an extraordinary opportunity to get their businesses known as well as sell their products.

Event director, Wesley Ewing, said: “Many of these businesses are often small operations and cottage industries.
“We are looking to sponsor at least two of the pitches and would welcome enquiries from local creative businesses.”
There will plenty of a family and children’s activities, as well as live music at this year’s event.
Local producers will be selling everything from handmade cheese, ice-cream, pickles, pates and organic meat to chocolate, jam and handmade crisps.
Eat and drink your fill
There will be locally-brewed beer, local English wines and barista coffees too.
Some producers operate from their own farms, or kitchens. There will be nationally-recognised companies exhibiting too.
What they will all have in common is a keen focus on high quality food and drink.
International award-winning chef Simon Smith is due to be giving live demonstrations on the Saturday and Sunday.
Out to set a new record
Nearly 9,000 people came to the event, in 2015.
The Tamworth Food Gusto Festival will be open from 10am to 5pm on both days.
